Goniyants Stepan A. - Professor, PhD, Head of Complex Form Methodology of Physical Education Department. He is a merited worker of physical education of RF, the honorary worker of higher vocational education of RF, a honored professor of Russian State University of PE, Sport, Youth and Tourism. He is also an academician of International Academy of Informatization (UNO) and an academician of International Academy of Tourism.

Professor Goniyants Stepan A. is a co-author and creator of the “Program of Physical Education for USSR population” (1989 г.) and “Concept of Physical Education and National Sport Development” (1990 г.).  He is a creator of State educational standard of specialty “Recreation and Fitness Tourism” in higher vocational education in Russia.

He is a scientific adviser of 47 PhD research, a scientific editor of more than 20 academic programs, manuals and textbooks for students of specialty “Recreation and Fitness Tourism”. He has published about 200 scientific studies.
