«Therapeutic physical education and sports medicine: achievements and development perspectives» has been held annually since 2012. Within the Conference theoretical and methodical issues of organizing therapeutic physical education (TPE), massage, sports healthcare, comprehensive rehabilitation of different categories of persons with health damage, sportsmen, people with disabilities are considered. The issues of therapeutic physical education in traumatology, orthopedics, clinical picture of internal diseases and neurology in conditions of different health-care institutions are highlighted. The issues of prevention of trauma and diseases of sportsmen and their rehabilitation are touched upon.

Sections directions:

– Therapeutic physical education (TPE), theoretical and methodological fundamentals of TPE, TPE in traumatology and orthopedics, TPE in clinical picture of internal diseases, TPE in neurology, TPE in gerontology, TPE in balneology.

- Physical rehabilitation (PR): history of PR, theoretical and methodological fundamentals of PR, PR in traumatology and orthopedics, PR in clinical picture of internal diseases, PR in neurology, PR in gerontology.

Massage: Theoretical basics of classical massage, Sports massage, Massage therapy, Master-class on massage.

– Therapeutic physical education for sportsmen recreation: Physical factors in prevention of trauma and diseases of sportsmen; Physical rehabilitation of sportsmen after traumas and overexertions, Remedial measures in in sport of high achievements, medical and biological provision in sport.
